Motion

Chronophotographs:

I had a lot of fun taking the four photos which compose this picture and later editing them. It was interesting learning the editing technique, which I previously had very little knowledge of, and learning the photography technique. Photos taken with the Shutter "S" function

Blurred Motion:

Blurred motion is defjned as when the object that is moving is blurred, while the rest of the photograph is in focus. Both taken with the "auto" function

Frozen Motion:

Frozen motion is defined as when the object that is moving is in clear focus, while the rest of the photo may be blurred. Both taken with the Shutter "S" function

Panned Motion

Panned motion is defined as when the object is shown moving (sometimes over more than one photo), but the camera is kept steady. Both taken with the "speed" function

  1. I absolutely love the depth of colour in the river image. The panning photos do not fit, however--the cars should be crisply in focus, while the backgrounds should be blurred. The chronophotograph has been assembled very well--it's almost impossible to tell which is the original photo.
